At NVB Playgrounds, Inc. (owner and operator of PlaygroundEquipment.com), we strive to make your experience smooth, fun, and hassle-free. Please review these Terms & Conditions thoroughly; by placing an order, scheduling a shipment, or using our services, you agree to the details below.

 


1. Shipping

  1. Delivery Methods
    • Freight Shipping: Large or heavy playground equipment typically ships via freight carrier.
    • Ground Shipping: Smaller accessories may ship via standard carriers like UPS.
  2. Shipping Quotes
    • Call us at (317) 747-0203 or email sales@playgroundequipment.com for a shipping quote or to confirm freight costs.
    • We always seek the most cost-effective methods, but we are not responsible for any transit-related damage (see Freight Delivery).
  3. Truck/Delivery Accessibility
    • Your location must be truck-accessible. If you have low clearances, tight roads, or other constraints, let us know in advance.
    • If a delivery address is inaccessible, you must arrange an alternative drop-off location or specialized equipment.

 


2. Freight Delivery

  1. Tailgate Delivery
    • The freight carrier brings shipments to the tailgate of the truck. You’re responsible for unloading—the driver isn’t obligated to assist.
    • Liftgate services (lowering equipment to ground level) are optional but must be arranged ahead of time; additional fees may apply.
  2. Damages & Liability
    • Freight carriers, not NVB Playgrounds, Inc., are liable for transit damage.
    • If you see damage or missing items upon arrival, document it on the delivery receipt, snap photos, and contact us within 24 hours. Failing to note issues can affect your claim for repairs or replacements.

 


3. Additional Freight Services

  • Services like two-person delivery or inside delivery are not included by default.
  • If your shipment is large or heavy (often on pallets), consider unpacking and verifying all components immediately upon arrival.
  • For extra freight needs, call (317) 747-0203—fees depend on carrier and region.

 


4. Storage Fee Policy

As of March 1, 2023, we charge $100/day per crate/pallet for any order remaining in our warehouse beyond the outlined timeline.

  1. 30-Day Limit
    • Once your order arrives, you have 30 days to schedule shipment.
    • On Day 31, daily storage fees ($100/crate/pallet) begin to accrue.
  2. Rescheduling or Delays
    • If you schedule a ship date but later postpone, fees start the next business day after your original ship date until it leaves.
  3. Dock Space & Returned Shipments
    • If your order is crated and staged but not shipped as scheduled, fees accrue.
    • If a carrier returns your shipment for any reason, fees begin immediately.
  4. Payment of Fees
    • All accrued storage fees must be paid before we can release your order.

 


5. Receipt of Shipment / Customer Responsibility

  1. Inspection
    • Before signing, confirm the number of boxes/pallets matches the delivery receipt.
    • Note any shortages or visible damage; if not, replacements may be at your expense.
  2. Concealed Damage
    • If you discover damage post-unboxing, notify us within 24 hours.
    • Keep all original packaging, as carriers may require it for claims.

 


6. Installation

  1. Knock-Down Delivery
    • Most items arrive unassembled, complete with instructions and a packing list. Double-check contents upon arrival.
  2. Installation Services
    • We can arrange professional installation for an extra fee—schedule beforehand.
    • Any installation issues must be reported within 30 days so we can address them promptly.

 


7. Payment

  1. Accepted Forms
    • We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover), checks, and signed POs (for qualified clients).
    • Full payment must be confirmed prior to order processing.
  2. Processing Timeline
    • Some items ship within 24 hours once payment is finalized—so verify all details carefully.
    • Custom or large orders may require additional production and coordination time.

 


8. Issues, Cancellations & Returns

  1. Replacement Parts / Damaged Items
    • Report missing or damaged parts within 48 hours of delivery, so we can coordinate replacements.
    • Delays in notifying us could shift costs onto you.
  2. Backorders
    • Some items may be backordered by the manufacturer.
    • If an item ships before you cancel, our standard return policy applies.
  3. Availability Errors & Inaccuracies
    • Product listings and pricing can change without notice.
    • We work diligently to keep info updated but reserve the right to correct errors at any time.
  4. Returns
    • You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Written authorization is mandatory.
    • A 25% restocking fee plus both-way shipping typically applies.
    • Custom or made-to-order items are non-returnable; items must be undamaged in original packaging.
  5. Non-Returnable Items
    • Installed or partially assembled equipment.
    • Loose-fill surfacing (rubber mulch, wood chips, etc.).
    • Shade structures or custom builds.
    • Items shipped free under promotional deals (unless defective).
    • Orders under $50.
    • Items returned beyond 30 days.
    • Freight-collect returns or returns without written approval.
  6. Cancellation
    • Orders may be canceled only before processing starts—call us ASAP at (317) 747-0203.
    • If already in production or staged for shipment, a 25% fee applies.
    • Shipping costs, if the order is en route, are non-refundable.
