Product Description

Whether children choose to use the left slide or the right slide, or even to slide down hand-in-hand with a friend, the 5 Foot Double Straight Slide is an excellent addition to playgrounds large and small. The slide towers 5 feet in the air and to a child that might as well be the top of a tree or mountain top, as they’ll surely feel a sense of achievement and adventure as they climb up and whizz down. Safety is a high priority for all outdoor play equipment, so this 5 Foot Double Straight Slide comes equipped with multiple features to keep children safe and happy. The steps up to the top platform have great traction to prevent slipping and there’s an exit panel on top of the slide so children must sit down before they can zoom down to the bottom. Metal powder-coated railings line the stairs and the platform so children can look over it and speak to friends through it, but won’t go over the edge.

This is called a 5' slide. Is that the length of the slide or how high it is above the ground?
  • Hi Susanna,

    Wonderful question!
The term "5' slide" refers to the height of the slide, specifically the distance from the top of the slide platform (or deck) to the surface below (usually the top of the safety surfacing).
It does not refer to the length of the slide itself.
