Whether you’re looking to set up your own swing set or need to replace a worn out part, the 5-inch Swing Hanger with Clevis Pendulum fits on any sized top bar with a total diameter of 5 inches (which is approximately 15.7 inches in circumference). This piece has been created to withstand many lbs of weight from children playing on the swing set and installing it couldn’t be easier. Just unscrew the hanger and clamp it over the top rail, then take a wrench and tighten it in place on both sides, ensuring the chain can hang down at 90 degrees. To attach the chain simply use a clevis connector security wrench to loosen the clevis connector, add your chain in the hoop, then tighten it back together. The swing set is designed to take the weight of children aged 2-12 years old and is compatible with a variety of quality link chains. The item also benefits from galvanization which protects the steel from rusting.

Hi Andrea,
Our equipment is commercial grade, just like those found in public parks, and it is rated based on an age range and not weight. Our swings/swing parts are safety rated for 2-12 year olds.
